new client inquiries and onboarding
The well-being of your Pet(s) is our number one priority. Below are the steps we navigate with you to ensure the service we provide your Pet(s) meet your specific needs for their care, health, and safety.
new client check-List
The health and safety of your pets is our number one priority, and in order to protect them, we require the following:
All parties — Humans and AWROOF! — assess the opportunity to determine if each is a good fit for each other
Humans and their dog(s) will participate in an introductory meet-and-greet with an AWROOF! service provider; they will discuss the dog(s)’ behaviors and needs; the assigned dog walker will take the dog(s) for a walk to get acquainted and assess their behavior; introductory meet-and-greets are not required for pet taxi services*
Humans will submit a completed service agreement and all client and pet intake documents
Humans will provide proof of vaccinations and monthly flea and tick prevention to be included in group walks or be transported via pet taxi services with other dogs; puppies younger than four months who have not completed their vaccinations must have their own crates for pet taxi services
Puppies must be at least four months old and have completed their initial vaccinations to be included in group walks
Dogs must have current tags and licenses; microchips are strongly recommended
Humans will provide AWROOF! with a copy of their building and apartment keys or fobs, or house keys or fobs*
*For Humans who are only requesting pet taxi services the new client onboarding process will be expedited and certain requirements above will be waived
Step One: new client inquiry Form
If you are inquiring about about pet concierge services and have not completed the meet-n-greet process, the first step is to contact us via our new client inquiry form — button below.
Please provide as much information as possible so we can respond via email with availability and pricing information. When we are ready to move forward, we will schedule a Zoom meet-n-greet to get to know each other, unless you’re only interested in pet taxi services.
If you are only interested in scheduling pet taxi services, you can simply move to
Step Four: New Client Onboarding
NOTE: Do not fill out this form if you are onboarding as a new client.
If you are onboarding as a new client, see STEP FOUR below.
Step Two: Zoom Meet-N-Greet
Unless you are only inquiring about Pet Taxi services*, all parties — Humans, Pet(s), and AWROOF! Staff — will meet via a remote Zoom meet-n-greet in order to get to know each other, assess the opportunity, and ask questions in order to determine if everyone is a good fit for each other.
During the initial introductory meet-n-greet all parties will be able to discuss the following:
The Pet Concierge Services that are needed for your Pet(s), including service frequency and/or any specific upcoming dates
The personality and behaviors of your Pet(s), including any special behavioral challenges
The medical history and special needs of your Pet(s)
AWROOF!’s business practices, service protocols, communication policies, and service pricing
And anything else anyone wants to know
Step Three: In-Person Meet-n-Greet
If all parties agree to move forward during the Zoom meet-n-greet, an in-person meet-n-greet will take place at the Human's home as follows:
AWROOF! Service Providers, Humans and Pets will meet to get to know each other and start to build a rapport
Humans and AWROOF! Service Providers will continue their discussions around Services, Personality and Behavior, and Medical needs
If any of the Pet(s) are a dog, AWROOF! Service Providers will take the dog(s) for a private walk unaccompanied by the Humans, to make a professional assessment of the dog’s behavior on walks
Step Four: New Client Onboarding
If Humans, Pets, and AWROOF! Service Providers decide to move forward, Humans are invited to complete the New Client onboarding process
Step One — New Client Form: To get things started, please complete our online new-client onboarding form
Step Two — Service Agreement: Once you submit the online new client onboarding form, a service agreement will automatically be sent to you via PandaDoc in a separate email; please review and sign
Step Three — Pet Intake Form: Once you sign the service agreement, please complete an online pet intake form for each pet
Step Four — First Month Invoice or Service Deposit Invoice:
If you’re enrolling your dog in group walks, we'll send you a prorated invoice for the current month once the service contract is signed
For other services, we’ll provide you with the amount of your service deposit with the service cost estimate
All initial payments are due before any services begin; payment options are listed below
Payment Options: Please note that all new clients are required to fill out the credit card authorization form included in the service agreement, even if you plan to pay via Venmo, Zelle, or check; we keep it as a back-up option for your convenience.
